Yes. You can purchase Travel Protection for the Land Tour-only portion of your trip, and you can now elect to extend that coverage to include your independently made air arrangements. You’ll be able to protect your tickets, frequent flyer miles, and more. 

Please note: If you make air arrangements through a third party and extend your Travel Protection to cover those flights, you cannot recover your air costs through this plan if OAT or Grand Circle cancels your departure dates, or if you initiate a departure date change.

If you purchase our Travel Protection Plan within 14 days of making your initial deposit, you will be covered for pre-existing conditions. If you purchase the plan after 14 days, however, and you need to cancel because of a pre-existing condition (or any other reason not covered by the plan), you'll receive a Grand Circle Travel Voucher for the penalty amount--so you'll still retain the value of your vacation. No. You must purchase the Travel Protection Plan before your final payment is due (90 days prior to departure). If you reserve your trip less than 90 days from departure, both your final payment and Travel Protection Plan purchase are due at the time of booking.
