2025 Policy Updates

We are implementing the following policy changes for all NEW reservations. Existing reservations will not be impacted.

Travel Protection

To ensure coverage due to unexpected events during your trip, Grand Circle requires travelers on the following trips to provide proof of travel protection with Medical Evacuation coverage of at least $200,000 and Medical Expense coverage of at least $50,000. If you purchase our Travel Protection Plan, this requirement is covered. If you do not purchase our Travel Protection Plan, Grand Circle will require proof of coverage prior to your departure.

Cancellation Policy

We have updated the fee charged for canceling your reservation. Once the cancellation charge has been applied, you will receive a refund equal to the trip price paid, based on your reservation’s price after any applicable discounts. This does not include the cost of the non-refundable Travel Protection Plan, the Good Buy Plan, applied certificates, non-refundable airfare/add-ons, and non-refundable services fees.

Effective for reservations booked 1/1/25 and after:
Cancellation Charges for Land Adventures and Land Vacations:

  • 90 days prior to departure or more: $500 per person
  • 89-60 days: 40% of your trip price paid
  • 59-30 days: 65% of your trip price paid
  • 29 days–day of departure: 100% of your trip price paid

Cancellation Charges for Small Ship Adventures and River Cruises:
  • 90 days prior to departure or more: $750 per person
  • 89-60 days: 40% of your trip price paid
  • 59-30 days: 65% of your trip price paid
  • 29 days–day of departure: 100% of your trip price paid

Effective for reservations booked prior to 1/1/25:
Cancellation Charges for Land Adventures and Land Vacations:

  • 90 days prior to departure or more: No fee
  • 89-60 days: 10% of your trip price paid
  • 59-30 days: 65% of your trip price paid
  • 29 days–day of departure: 100% of your trip price paid

Cancellation Charges for Small Ship Adventures and River Cruises:
  • 90 days prior to departure or more: No fee
  • 89-60 days: 40% of your trip price paid
  • 59-30 days: 65% of your trip price paid
  • 29 days–day of departure: 100% of your trip price paid

Frequent Traveler Credits

Effective 1/1/25, your Frequent Traveler Credits can no longer be combined with an offer inside 120 days prior to departure.
