Experience the natural beauty of Elba Island on this optional half-day tour to Mount Capanne. Your journey begins with a scenic 20-minute ride on a funicular, where two guests per cabin will ascend to the highest point on Elba Island. Located in the island’s rugged western region, Mount Capanne rises to 1,017 meters (3,337 feet) above the shimmering Mediterranean Sea. At the summit, you'll have time to admire sweeping views of the Tuscan Archipelago and beyond, surrounded by the island’s distinctive Mediterranean vegetation, including Matorral shrublands and woodlands. After descending, visit the nearby village of Marciana—one of Elba’s oldest settlements—for a guided walk through its charming old town of cobbled lanes and historic stone buildings. Conclude your tour with a relaxing included aperitivo before returning to your ship.

You'll stop by the Cattedrale dell'Immacolata Concezione (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception) where Albert's famous parents are buried: Prince Rainer III and Grace Kelly, America’s darling movie star.

Then, after lunch at a local restaurant in Monaco, you'll visit lively Monte Carlo—home of the famed Monte Carlo Casino.
