This special art departure features these Exclusive Art & Tulips Activities:

  • Day 3: View a display of four Baroque paintings by Flemish artist Sir Peter Paul Rubens inside Antwerp's Cathedral of Our Lady.
  • Day 4: Behold the Ghent Altarpiece—also known as The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb—a 15th century polyptych altarpiece in St. Bavo's Cathedral that marked the transition from medieval to Renaissance art.
  • Day 7: Begin the day with a visit to Delft's famous porcelain factory—usually an optional tour. Afterwards, experience the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague, home to such masterpieces as Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring and The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt.
  • Day 11: Visit Amsterdam's world renown Rijksmuseum—the Netherlands' national museum—which features works by famous Dutch masters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh.
