When you reserve airfare with us, we’ll take care of all the details—and you’ll enjoy a seamless travel experience with the support from Grand Circle from start to finish.

Pre- or Post-Trip Extensions

Make the most of your trip—and join the 60% of travelers who add a pre- or post-trip extension to their trip. Our extensions feature destinations either already included on your main itinerary, which allows you to spend even more time in that location, or completely new destinations that our travelers have expressed interest in—many of which are not offered on our main trips.

By adding an extension, you’ll maximize your discoveries and enhance your value by lowering your per-day costs because you’re taking advantage of your already included international airfare. Each extension includes all accommodations, daily breakfast and some meals, and a variety of included features.

Arrive Early*

Now available on all Grand Circle Travel Land vacations and select Grand Circle Cruise Line River Cruises. Before your main trip or pre-trip extension, you can extend your time abroad anywhere you'd like to do more exploring entirely on your own. 40% of our travelers arrive a few days before their trip begins to get acclimated after their long flight and explore independently. Consider building in extra time for yourself to relax and get adjusted, or give yourself even more opportunities to immerse yourself in local culture at your leisure.

*Please note: Arrive Early options are not available on Grand Circle Cruise Line River Cruises where your first night is aboard the ship.

Stopover

Interested in visiting an iconic city on your own before or after your trip? We offer the opportunity to Stopover in popular cities our travelers have expressed the most interest in—including London, Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam—when you purchase airfare through Grand Circle. For $595-$1,195 per person, your price includes 3 nights in a centrally-located hotel, daily breakfasts, and roundtrip private airport transfers. Stopovers do not include a set itinerary, which means you are free to spend your time how you’d like, whether that’s seeing the sights or sampling the local cuisine. No Grand Circle representative will be available during your Stopover. Please note: This Stopover option is only available for travelers who purchase airfare through Grand Circle. Stopover options are only applicable on O.A.T. Small Ship Adventures.

Combine Trips

For some travelers, one trip just isn’t enough. If you love the thrill of discovering the world, consider combining two (or more) trips. Since you’re already overseas, you’ll maximize your value by avoiding the expense and length of another international flight. Plus, you’ll save an overall total of $600-$3000 per person when you combine two trips compared to the cost of returning home and taking each trip separately. Our Travel Counselors will work with you to make all necessary arrangements for a seamless experience—and will also provide recommendations on some of the most popular and best trips to combine to maximize your discoveries.

Cabin Upgrade

Perhaps you’d like to be close to the elevator, dining room, or even your friend’s cabin—we’ll help you select the ship cabin or deck category that works best for you. Plus, when you upgrade to an upper deck cabin on many of our trips, you can enjoy your own private balcony on our River Cruises.
