Well, we went on the Ultimate Africa trip in August. It was their winter, and the days were the 70's, but very cold at night.....lower 30's. That was Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe. Then for the post-trip to Cape Town in South Africa, the weather was quite good also. About the same temps as for the other 3 countries. It was not the rainy season, so we didn't have to contend with that; however, it was snowing in Cape Town about 3 days before we got there!!!....but it had stopped and melted before we got there!!

My husband and I went on the Highlights of South Africa last October/November. It was a perfect time as it was their early spring. What was especially nice was when we visited the Kruger National Park the leaves were not out on the trees, making it easier to view the fabulous animals. The days woud and could be hot but the evenings were temperate.

We went on the UA trip Oct. 18 and returned Nov. 12.  It was very hot in Botswana (112 to 120?) during the middle of the day, but it cooled off at night and all cabins had fans.  However, we saw so many animals because the trees were bare and the animals needed to stay near the remaining water holes. The other countries were warm but not uncomfortable.  It was a great time to be there.  All the camps had ice for drinks which helped.  This trip was excellent in every way.
