Hello Everybody -

Due to the inclement weather in the Northeast, our call center will have limited hours of operation and may even be closed Saturday, February 9. We plan on operating regularly scheduled hours on Sunday, February 10 from 9am EST-7pm EST. Upon re-opening, we may experience high call volumes throughout the day. We appreciate your patience in advance.

Kind Regards,

GCT/GCCL Forum Moderator

The Forum Moderator politely stated "inclement" weather in the Northeast.  Please be advised that things are just about at a stand still in Boston and the T(subway) has been shut down.  The Blizzard has hit hard with a "state of emergency" declared by our Governor.  Yep, things are bad.  Patience is the key word here!

we live on the portion of Long Island which received the highest snowfall.  We got approximately double the predicted snow( where we live the official results were 29", but we cleaned off over 3' from our driveway due to drifting ).  And the part of the storm that hit us was headed right up to Boston.  We saw in our papers yesterday that Boston had already recorded 25" and the storm was still in progress.  Hope all of you up there can get back to normal.  We're still cleaning up down here.  Although our public transportation is functioning, the problem is getting to the stations.  Our local governments were simply overwhelmed.  They usually plow the streets by the end of the first day.  And that includes the blizzard of 2010 and 1978  Not this time.
