Oh, are so right, Nancyf! Some of these complaints are unbelievable.
I posted last year about not taking travelers' reviews too seriously after someone complained that there was too much rain in Ireland. Duh! And the couple who were unhappy with their trip to Japan, because they were served fish which they don't eat. The woman who was unhappy with an optional in the UK which was called a castle, and she said it wasn't a castle and she'd been lied to. But there was a picture of it in the brochure and it was used for the exteriors of Brideshead Revisited. People who are used to eating dinner early and thought that having dinner at 7 pm in Spain was too late. But the Spanish don't eat dinner until much later than that.
I love having new experiences and seeing new places. And I read up on these places ahead so that I know what I'm getting into. I thought everybody did, but based on some of those reviews, I doubt it.
