I was going to comment on the "svncontinents...Bathroom" thread but after the Moderator reply, there is nowhere to post a response.  Not that I can see.  Can anyone else?  I guess this means, END OF DISCUSSION!!!  Kinda like your momma saying...BECAUSE I SAID SO!!! have my sympathy...I've been where you are...some days you step in it, some days you don't.   And you're left wondering...WHAT did I do?  Like others, I don't think you needed to apologize.

It seemed to me that everyone responding was only trying to help.

I've come across a few people that even if I've totally agreed with everything they said, they still haven't been happy.  Hopefully the moderator can help svncontinents with their concerns.

 Yes Hootie,

It seems to be shut down. I agree with that decision as the discussion had degraded and become personnal between parties that have contributed in many discussions, I think that this had the potential of harming the effectivemess of this forum.

I think, however, that GCT should have explicitly shut it down and stated its reasons for doing so, rather than just shutting it off.

Hi hootie, I also noticed that the Post Reply button was missing from that thread and I think it was a wise decision to stop it.

I do agree with you that Luisa wrote nothing that most people would consider offensive. I was impressed by her graciousness in apologizing even though it wasn't really necessary.  The reaction to her suggestion reminded me of the time someone in the OAT forum responded to a post I made by telling me I should consider traveling with GCT instead of OAT. Rather than get all huffy, I just ignored it and was actually amused because I just happened to be on a GCT trip at the time. Life is too short to let little things like that bother me

I agree that the moderator should have given the reason for shutting it down.  I almost clicked on Report Abuse at one point.

Thanks for your comments. Like Janice, I've decided to "move on" and not let the posts bother me. I think when writing in a forum intentions are misunderstood; it's easier to communicate in person, but it is what it is.

Hootie, I thought you had a alias.

Pauline, don't let stuff like this get to you, concentrate on your health so you can get to Europe again. I have surgery coming up in about a month myself, so I'm focusing on staying healthy and calm. I hope we're all on a trip together some day, it would be fun to be with fun people.
