Last year I read the book, "Sarah's Key" and decided, if I ever get back to Paris I would look for some of the places in the book. We are going to do the Rhone trip in June so I looked on the internet for information about the Vel d'hiv roundup of Jewish children in Paris. All that is left of the Velodrome is a memorial statue and placque at the Bir-Hakeim Metro station. That is located near the Seine, not too far from our hotel. The address is 8 Blvd de Grenelle.
I will make a point of going there and getting some photos. Hope you will too.
