Monday, March 29, I leave on my OAT Adventure to Ultimate Africa.  I would like to hear from previous travelers to Ultimate Africa: Botswana, Namibia & Zimbabwe.

I would like to hear what treasures, gifts and unusual items you found, and also what you purchased to bring home as a souvenir of your trip.

Thanking you in advance for taking the time to give me an idea of what is available.

You will find beautiful baskets, wood and stone carvings and textiles.  I bought mud cloths, ebony statues and a Shona sculpture.

Adventure Gal,

You will find some wonderful carvings and fabric runners when you visit the villages.  You will also have some very nice jewelry that is carved by the locals.  I bought a beautiful basket that was woven by the local women made from the baobob tree.  Things are not expensive and you will have a chance to pick up small or very large carvings of the animals.

Have fun we enjoyed this wonderful trip and experience.
