As a first time Group Leader, ((but my 5th trip to the Costa del Sol with GCT!!)), I was able to gather 10 of us for a fabulous visit to the Costa del Sol with GCT for 2 weeks from 10/5/11 - 10/19/11. If anyone out there is on the same schedule as us, feel free to say hello and perhaps I could help should you have any questions!  Have a "Wonder-Full" trip!!!

I'm sure you will have a "Wonder-Full" trip to the Costa del Sol. As far as weather is concerned, the daytime temp should be around 75 and the nights cool to about 60 or so. Of course those are just averages and temps can fluctuate so I would suggest some layering or a lightweight jacket for evenings.

As far as optional tours... first decide how "busy" you want to be. If you want to be on the go all the time and see everything.. all of the optionals are great. If you want more free time to relax, explore the local village and shop then perhaps select only two. I would suggest the overnight to Morocco and the day trip to The Ahlambra...(of course Ronda & Seville are beautiful as well). They will explain all the optional tours to you before you need to make a decision.

As far as people returning to the Costa del Sol, I can only speak for myself. I love just unpacking once and not living out of a suitcase for two weeks and The Bajondillo has a perfect location. It captures the feeling of a village with  winding stairs peppered with shops up to San Miguel street to the center of Torremolinos.

I hope we have the opportunity to meet before you depart from Spain. My name tag will read Jerry Lebel. and my group of 10 will be arriving on the 6th of October.

Have a GREAT time as I'm sure you will.  Happy travels.....Jerry (*_*)
