Enjoy the opportunity to explore Paris at length. Often referred to as the "City of Light," the French capital is one of Europe's most stunning and influential metropolitan centers, featuring renowned landmarks and world-famous art museums—combined with romance, style, and a certain je ne sais quoi that make it one of the world's leading travel destinations.

It's Included:
Accommodations for 3 nights
Daily breakfasts
2-day Metro pass
Dedicated services of a local Program Director
Gratuities for local guides and motorcoach drivers
All transfers
  • Depart today on your flight to Paris.

  • Arrive this morning or afternoon in Paris. You are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

You have the balance of the day to relax after your overseas flight. You might choose to join your Program Director for an orientation walk to get better acquainted with the area around your hotel.

Later, celebrate your arrival in France with a Welcome Drink and briefing. Ask your Program Director for suggestions for dining on your own this evening in the "City of Light."

  • Relish in a day at leisure, and use your included Metro pass to discover all this culture-rich city has to offer. Perhaps you'll trace Paris' past at the ornate Renaissance-style Hotel de Ville, built in the 14th century when Paris moved its location from two islands on the Seine to the mainland. Or you might explore the Place des Vosges, the city's oldest square.

Enjoy dinner on your own this evening, or join us for an optional outing to a lively French Cabaret Dinner & Show. As you savor a meal of Parisian specialties, you'll find out why this kind of theater has been celebrated for so many years—in both France and throughout the world.

Please note: This traditional cabaret performance is intended for an adult audience, and includes some nudity. The cabaret is closed on Tuesdays; this optional tour may be featured on an alternate day.

  • Enjoy a full day on your own to explore Paris in depth.

Or, join an optional morning tour to the renowned Louvre Museum to see some of the museum's priceless artworks and treasures, which may include Leonardo da Vinci’s cherished masterpiece, Mona Lisa, and the Greek sculpture of Venus de Milo.

Please note: The Louvre is closed on Tuesdays; this optional tour may be featured on an alternate day.

Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own in one of Paris' many fine restaurants.

    • Meals included:

After breakfast, transfer to your river ship to begin your Seine: Paris to Normandy River Cruise.
