Share Your Travel Moments: Photos and Videos

We invite you to share your photos and videos of memorable moments made with Grand Circle Travel—and a description of why those memories are so special to you—with all our travelers.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • There is a delay from the time you submit your video or photos to the time it actually appears on the website. Typically, it will take about an hour, and could take up to 72 hours. The images you submit will appear on both the Traveler Moments page, as well as the trip-specific page that is associated with the images you captured. Videos will appear on the Traveler Moments page after about an hour, and could take up to 72 hours. Videos will also appear on the trip-specific page that is associated with the trip captured in the video, however this may take up to four-five weeks to appear. Please check back often for new content.
  • Images may be removed if they are deemed offensive to individuals. Images or videos may also be removed if they are found to be copyrighted material.
  • In order to provide the best experience to fellow travelers, we ask that you log into My Account, which allows us to access your past travel history. We use your travel history to review the photos and videos you are submitting, and then associate them to the correct trip featured. This ensures that we are showing the correct information about each trip when other travelers are viewing your photos or videos.
  • In order to protect the privacy of our travelers, rather than asking for a first name and last name, we’ve provided you with an option to provide a nickname.
  • The steps are very easy to submit a photo or video. We provide many options to do this, including the ability to directly upload a video or image from your computer, Smart Phone or iPhone, iPad, or other tablet. We have also provided the option to choose an image from Instagram or Facebook.

    Once you have logged in and clicked on the “Upload Photo or Video” button on the Traveler Moments page, there are a few simple steps to follow:

    1. First, choose which trip is featured in the photo or video you are submitting.
    2. Next, choose how you are going to upload the image or video.
    3. Then provide a comment about the moment. Tell us which trip and city is featured, and what the photo or video means to you.
    4. Click submit.
    5. Once you click submit, you’ll be allowed to upload another photo, or go back to the Traveler Moments page.
  • All photos submitted to Traveler Moments by November 30 will be entered into this year’s Photo Contest.   • Your comments, suggestions and information are important to us. With respect to any content you submit or make available to Grand Circle or on the Site, including but not limited to your biography, comments, reviews, endorsements, testimonials, pictures, videos and other content, you grant, and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Grand Circle a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works, commercialize and sublicense such content, in whole or in part, in any media, now or hereafter known or developed for all purposes, without any additional consideration due to you. We do not prescreen content posted by users and cannot guarantee the Site will be free from content that is inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise objectionable. You acknowledge that we are acting only as a passive channel for such distribution. We have no liability relating to any user content or activities of users on the Site. Even in the event we choose to monitor any user content, we assume no responsibility for, or any obligation to monitor or remove, such user content.
  • You can submit photos or videos from past trips that you have taken with Grand Circle Travel, Grand Circle Cruise Line, or Overseas Adventure Travel. We are looking for the moments that really spoke to you—the moment that highlights why you leave home and travel far to expand your worldwide horizons. Images of people, places, wildlife, and landmarks are welcome.
  • Unfortunately, we are not able to show videos that contain music that has been copyrighted on our website. If we find music that has been copyrighted when reviewing your video, we will overwrite the music with a basic soundtrack.
  • Take a look at the Creative Tips section on the Traveler Moments page to find some helpful tips and tricks our photo team uses while they are abroad.
  • There is no limit. You can submit as many photos and videos as you like. You will need to submit each photo and video one at a time. Don’t forget to provide a unique comment for each photo or video when submitting.
  • Please email TravelerMoments@oattravel.com if you have issues uploading content. Someone will respond to your email within 48 hours.

  • Images and videos you submit may be used across our websites to share the travel experiences you have encountered. We may also be interested in using your images and videos on Facebook, in our emails, and even in our print catalogs. Keep an eye out to see if yours or your friend’s photos are used.
  • There is a size restriction on how large your photos and videos can be. For photos, the size should be no larger than 5 MB. For videos, the size should be no larger than 100 MB.
  • To share your photo or video from the website, click on the image. It will open a new window. In the bottom right-hand corner of that window, you will see a Facebook icon and an email icon. Click one of these icons to begin the sharing process.
  • Please email TravelerMoments@oattravel.com and request the photo or video be removed. In your email, please tell us your first and last name, your customer number, and the trip the image was for.
  • You do not need permission to show fellow travelers in the videos or images you have taken. If we receive a request or complaint about an image, we will notify you.
