Women in Adventure: England

Posted on 4/4/2017 2:27:00 PM in What We’re Watching

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

This short film from Filmuphigh won a Best Cinematography award at the London Ealin Film Awards when it premiered last year. I see why—the film follows mountain adventurer Kate Worthington during a run through the mountains of Snowdonia in North Wales. Beginning with the 5am start in darkness, we watch the day unfold amid the stillness of Llyn Lldaw lake, under the craggy peaks and fog covered arêtes of Mount Snowdon, and through the eerie ruins of the Dinorwic slate quarry. Magical!
