Verrückt: The Snail Farmer of Vienna

Posted on 6/19/2018 12:00:00 AM in What We're Watching

A note from our curator, independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

In this episode of the series called Taste, we meet former IBM exec Andreas Gugumuc, who ditches his high-paying day job to resurrect the ultimate slow food—snails—in the little-known former epicenter of escargot, Vienna. Andreas is just one of the crazy food entrepreneurs around the world that are featured in the series Taste, a production of filmmaker Kevin Longa.
