Morris dancing is a type of English folk dance but its origin and intent are a mystery—even to these Morris dancers from Bampton, England. They have been carrying out the traditions of Morris dancing for decades, never fully knowing where it came from or what its purpose is. Why do we maintain rituals? How do we gain a sense of purpose from something we do not fully understand?
