Galápagos: The Land that Time Forgot

Posted on 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM in What We're Watching

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

This music-driven film beautifully showcases just how wonderfully biodiverse the Galápagos Islands are. We see a giant tortoise, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and adorable seals—the latter on a park bench! Below the water’s surface, schools of brightly-colored fish flick by us, and a squadron of rays glide past. From huge hammerheads to tiny pink seahorses, the distinctive creatures of the Galápagos are a sight to behold.
