Frames of Ponza

Posted on 7/18/2017 12:00:00 AM in What We’re Watching

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

Ponza is the largest island of the Italian Pontine Island group. Situated between Naples and Rome, it’s one of Italy’s best-kept secrets. What better way to take in the island’s beauty than by a smooth, low altitude aerial view? Filmmaker Jeffrey Attoh reveals the resplendent greenery, the whitewashed towns, the secret cave pools, the distinctive tufted cliffs, and the beaches, reachable only by water taxi. You also get a feel for the island life. Clearly, you don’t come here to do—you come here to be.

Produced by Jeffrey Attoh
