ReelEarth: Fjord Swimmers

A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:

I am very excited about this recent short film by Sebastian Ziegler. Fjord Swimmers is a contemplative insight on Iceland swim culture, as well as the complex relationship between people and the ocean. Ólafía is an inspirational woman who overcomes her fears in a way that feels distinctly Icelandic, but also, just distinctly human. This film is must see film for anyone who is interested in visiting Iceland, or greater Europe.

Produced by Sebastian Ziegler
