A note from independent filmmaker David Conover on why he chose this film:
The Dutch are known for their innovative design, and the capital city of Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ poster child for easy and well-designed urbanity. Streets brim with a blend of historical and modern architecture. Bucolic, 17th-century canals form concentric belts around the city. Bicyclists swarm the busy streets. In this episode of CNNGo, our two Dutch hosts—Olympic field hockey player Floris Evers and designer Lilian Driessen—take us to some of their favorite spots: the Vondelpark, the Noordermarkt (where you can find the best goat cheese in the world) and Pols Potten, a boutique store selling home goods.
From bustling streets to winding canals, experience Amsterdam with Grand Circle Cruise Line during Holland & Belgium in Springtime.
