Hurtigruten’s ships are active parts of Norway’s maritime heritage, regularly sailing into local harbors to deliver supplies and travelers to small towns. The fleet includes modern 400- to 1,000-passenger Discovery-class Hurtigruten ships and a classic 554-passenger Nautical-class Hurtigruten ship. All inside and outside cabins on both classes of ships offer private baths. While you will not find the standard luxury-cruise activities or amenities onboard either class of ship, you’ll enjoy insightful discussions, traditional cuisine, and fine service. Let nature be your entertainment for the duration of your cruise as you witness the region’s charming scenery from up to three small panoramic lounges.
