In the afternoon, your Program Director accompanies you on a flight from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires, where you arrive in the early evening. You'll then transfer to your hotel. Dinner is on your own tonight.
After breakfast, fly to Iguassu Falls. This afternoon, you enjoy breathtaking views of the falls from the Brazilian side. A stone path leads to several platforms with fine views from different angles. You get close enough to the thundering torrents to feel the spray, and you may glimpse the park’s resident coatis (raccoon-like animals.) Enjoy an included dinner at your hotel this evening.
Today you witness sweeping views at the Argentinean side of the falls. Here, the falls can be approached, viewed, felt, and experienced from a number of angles. Along the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) walk, the water plunges 240 feet into a roiling cauldron. With the spray flying up to 50 feet above your head and rainbows dancing in it, the view here can only be described as breathtaking.
Then, after an included lunch, you may enjoy an afternoon at leisure inside the national park on the Argentinean side of the falls, or join an optional Great Adventure tour. On this optional tour, you’ll discover both the lush vegetation and the rushing waterfalls of Iguassu National Park from multiple perspectives, beginning with a panoramic ride along the Sendero Yacaratía trail that winds through the verdant jungle to the riverside.
Spend the morning at leisure. This afternoon, you fly to Buenos Aires to board an overnight flight back to the U.S.
