Arrive today in Nice. A Grand Circle representative meets you at the airport and assists with your transfer to the hotel. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure.
Join your fellow travelers for a Welcome Drink and briefing this evening before dinner on your own. Your Program Director can offer advice about local restaurants.
After breakfast, set off to seaside Cannes, famous for its film festival and as a destination for the rich and famous. Enjoy a walking tour of the city’s grand, 19th-century villas, and take in the sights along La Croisette, the waterfront boulevard known for its picturesque beaches, restaurants, cafes, and boutiques.
Then continue to Antibes, where your Program Director leads you on a walking tour of the Old Town and Billionare’s Quay. Enjoy lunch on your own before time at leisure to make your own discoveries. Then visit a local producer of Provencal specialties. Here you’ll learn how regional delicacies are created and can taste locally produced olive oil and tapenade.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon, and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
After breakfast, join us on a full-day optional tour along the magnificent Moyenne Corniche, with a half-day panoramic views of the Cote d’Azur. We’ll visit the principality of Monaco and enjoy a walking tour, which includes a visit to the 19th-century Monaco Cathedral, final resting place of the Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly. We’ll also witness the changing of the guard outside the famous Grimaldi Palace. We'll stop in Monte Carlo and its most famous square, Place du Casino, home of the legendary Grand Casino. Later, we’ll travel a portion of the Grand Prix Motor Race circuit. Our day ends with a visit to the gardens and ground floor of the stunning Villa Rothschild. Or, enjoy a day at leisure.

You have the entire day to discover this sunny city according to your own interests. Perhaps you’ll search for some antique souvenirs at the market on the Cours Saleya. And be sure to wander down an alley into the old city or “le Vieux Nice,” where you’ll find walls with trompe l’oeil paintings, boutiques selling carnival masks, and a host of inviting cafes.
