After your Cruising Burgundy & Provence to the Cote d'Azur River Cruise Tour, you'll transfer to Nice, France.
Your first day here is free to explore the delightful seaside town at your own pace. Perhaps you’ll stroll the Promenade des Anglais and admire the ocean on one side of you and Nice’s finest hotels, restaurants, and shops on the other. You could spend a day relaxing on one of the city beaches for which Nice is known throughout Europe. Or you might visit one of the city’s many museums, including the Musee des Beaux Arts, featuring work from great Impressionist and post-Impressionist artists including Monet, Renoir, Dufy, and Sisley.
Enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
After breakfast, join us on a full-day optional tour along the magnificent Moyenne Corniche, with panoramic views of the Cote d’Azur. We’ll visit the old town of Monaco and enjoy a walking tour, which includes a visit the 19th-century Monaco Cathedral, final resting-place of the Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly. We’ll also witness the changing of the guard outside the famous Grimaldi Palace. We'll stop in Monte Carlo and its most famous square, Place du Casino, home of the legendary Grand Casino. Later, we’ll travel a portion of the Grand Prix Motor Race circuit. Our day ends with a visit to the gardens and ground floor of the stunning Villa Rothschild.

After breakfast, you'll set out on an all-day tour of the Provencal countryside. Begin with a visit to a producer of Provence specialties. Here you'll learn how local delicacies are created and have the chance to taste locally produced olives, tomatoes, and tapenade.
Then you'll continue on to seaside Cannes, famous for its film festival and as a destination for the rich and famous. Stroll La Croisette, the waterfront boulevard known for its picturesque beaches, restaurants, cafes, and boutiques and enjoy lunch on your own. You'll also enjoy a walking tour of the city's grand, 19th-century villas, built to reflect the wealth and standing of their owners and inspired by everything from medieval castles to Roman villas.
Return this evening to join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Drink before dinner on your own.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
