96% of travelers rated their experience with Fernando excellent
"Fernando is the very best Program Director anyone could hope for. His love for his country and his desire to share it with others was evident from the first time he met us. He went above and beyond what was expected of him, and his knowledge of his country was unbelievable. He had time for everyone and no question went unanswered. He is truly what Grand Circle is all about ... What a beautiful person he is."

Get to know Fernando:
I was born in a little village on the Amalfi Coast called Positano. Years ago, Positano was not well known, but it has always been beautiful. During the summer, there was no school, so I was able to spend a lot of time with my granddad … what a man! He didn’t have much of an education, but he was my psychology and philosophy teacher. He is the person responsible for pushing me to where I am today. He was a fisherman, as well as a farmer, and everyday with him was a new and exciting day, full of learning and discoveries.
This was during the 1950s, and today, things have changed very much. Positano is now famous and very popular with tourists. However, in our culture, we have deep roots and traditions. I still meet with my friends I went to school with many years ago every three months to share our experiences with a good, homemade limoncello.
After almost 30 years of experience in the travel industry, many people think I might have had enough, but not yet. I love my job as much as I did when I first started. In Italy, there are many things to see, share, and talk about.
