Has anyone taken a hot air balloon ride over Marrakesh?  If so, how does it compare to other hot air balloon rides?  For example, is it as good as Cappadocia?

Thanks

Have you done the balloon ride over Cappadocia?  Is it worthwhile?

Thanks.

The hot-air balloon over Cappadocia is both a great value and a great experience.  They can set the balloon (nearly) down between the spires.  Awesome photo opportunity.

Many people on the balloon trip (20! per balloon) said it was one of the best for sites to see from a balloon.

I fear what one sees from a balloon over Marrakesh are better seen from the ground.  The photos on website advertising the trip don't show great photos from the balloon, which is why I am skeptical.

So, anyone been in a balloon over Marrakesh?

Thanks so much for the info about ballooning over Cappadocia.  That's the one optional that we will be certain to take.  We've gone hot air ballooning in Napa, but that's the only time we've done that.  Cappadocia sounds fantastic.

The balloon ride over Cappadoccia was a highlight of a wonderful tour of Turkey.  It was my first and I was nervous, but that quickly disappeared when I became exhilarated  by the spectacular views. Everyone in our group of 15 loved it.

Could you give us your opinion of the other optionals on the Crossroads of Turkey tour?

We definitely plan to do the Balloon over Cappadocia, but we're not sure if we want to take any of the other optionals.  The Whirling Dervish ceremony sounds interesting, thoughl.

We would appreciate any information that you can share.

Thanks much,.
