BOSTON, MA—Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises, the cruise line division of Grand Circle Corporation, was ranked among the Top 3 “World’s Best Small Ship Cruise Lines” in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards. This is the sixth year in a row that Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises has been rated one of the world’s best small ship cruise lines.
Results of Condé Nast Traveler’s 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards are derived from a survey of the magazine’s subscribers. This year, more than 25,900 readers responded to the survey, which asked them to rate the world’s best cities, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and more. In the small ship cruise line category, readers rated their experiences based on the ships’ activities/facilities, cabins, crew/service, design/layout, food/dining, itineraries/schedule, and shore excursions.
“We thank Condé Nast Traveler and its readers for recognizing our efforts to provide authentic small ship vacations for our travelers,” said Grand Circle Chairman Alan E. Lewis. “We are particularly proud of our ability to offer travelers excellent River Cruises and Small Ship Adventures at prices that are up to $500 lower per day than many of the small ship cruise lines in the Top 10 listing.”
Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises provides dozens of small ship vacation choices through Grand Circle Corporation’s two travel brands: Grand Circle Travel and Overseas Adventure Travel. Options include four star-plus 50-passenger ships that ply the waters of the Red Sea, Suez Canal, Adriatic, Aegean, and the Mediterranean; 50-164 passenger river ships in Europe, Russia, and Egypt; and scores of exclusive, private charters that operate along the Panama Canal, China’s Yangtze River, South America’s Amazon, and other destinations.
