Overseas Adventure Travel, Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises, and Grand Circle Travel Are Winners in Travel + Leisure’s 2008 World’s Best Awards
BOSTON—Vince Cook, Grand Circle Corporation CEO, today announced that Travel + Leisure readers have rated both Overseas Adventure Travel and Grand Circle Travel as among the world's best tour operators and safari outfitters and Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises as one of the best small ship cruise lines in the world. Survey results of Travel + Leisure's 2008 World's Best Awards—which uncover readers' favorite hotels, cruise lines, airlines, cities, islands, tour operator/safari outfitters and car-rental agencies—are featured in the magazine's August 2008 issue.
"We are honored to be included in Travel + Leisure's 2008 World's Best Awards and grateful to our travelers for taking the time to share their opinions of us," said Cook. "We're proud that all three of our travel companies are included in this prestigious listing and particularly proud of the fact that our vacations cost hundreds, if not thousands, less than those offered by other top rated companies. We work hard to provide our travelers with an excellent experience at an affordable price, and being recognized by Travel + Leisure's readers lets us know that we're on the right track."
Overseas Adventure Travel, which offers more than 40 international small group adventures for Americans over 50, has once again been included in the Top 15 listing of World's Tour Operators—for the sixth time in seven years.
