We did this trip in 2004 and really enjoyed it. The bus was fine, with an outstanding knowledgible driver. I don't remember his name, but he worked for other companies where he both drove and was the guide. The program director was Bill Spiller, who was excellent. He and the dirver had never worked together before, but you would never guess it. They complemented each other quite well. The only 3 hotels that we are sure are the same are the Red Lion in Spokane, which was comfortable and was right on the River Walk, other than that, there was nothing of interest around it, as Spokane is a sprawling city, the Mount Royal Hotel in Bannf, which was right in the heart of this charming town and Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge, which was ski lodge with a great bar/restaurant. We don't really remember other meals, meaning that they probably were not outstanding or poor, except for the day 10 lunch, which was at a rustic but excellent salmon restaurant, looking over the Farsier River canyon.
