Like me, Grand Circle travelers love Africa. And whether you’re visiting the continent for the first time, or returning for yet another adventure, you can learn a lot from other travelers’ experiences.
I want to share some of the emails I’ve received from Grand Circle travelers who are as enamored with Africa as I am. Here, Jim G., Jim R., and Alan G. share their favorite memories—and photos—from their trips to South Africa …
This photo was taken at the Featherbed Nature Walk during our Highlights of South Africa trip. It shows three generations of the California Case family who were on the tour. From left to right are grandmother Mary Case, granddaughter Sean Case, and Sean’s mother, Karen Case (Mary’s daughter).

Here is a photo from our wonderful and exciting trip to South Africa last July and August. We all have the same printed shirts that I had made for the trip. Our names and “Africa 2009” are on the fronts of the shirts, and a map of Africa and the stops we made along the way are printed on the back.
