Eyeing new discoveries in Italy & France in 2015

It’s never too early to dream of the journeys to come, which is why we’re already excited about what’s ahead in 2015 for travelers ready to experience France and Italy with Grand Circle Cruise Line.

Unveiling a new trip is always a thrill, which is why we’re pleased to share Bordeaux: Vineyards, Vintages & Chateaux. On this River Cruise Tour, you’ll discover the vineyard-draped hills and chateaux-dotted valleys of southwestern France. Grand Circle Cruise Line offers the only vacation in the region to feature both land explorations in the Loire Valley and La Rochelle, and discoveries on the Garonne and Dordonne rivers and Gironde Estuary. It was exciting to see travelers’ enthusiasm about this new itinerary, especially when we asked for input on our Facebook page about what you’d like to name our new Small Ship. The M/S River Chanson won by a landslide!

We’re happy to report great new included features that are hallmarks of the Grand Circle cruising experience in 2015, including complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks with lunch in addition to dinner. And, we're also including all port charges in your price for 2015—to read more about these enhancements and others, click here. You'll enjoy these features on classic favorites in France, including our The Seine: Paris to Normandy and Cruising Burgundy & Provence to the Cote d’Azur cruises.

And for travelers who prefer our land itineraries, choices abound, with the full range of Italy’s diversity on display. Some of our trips focus on single regions in depth, like our Discover Sicily: Heart of the Mediterranean and Tuscany & the Amalfi Coast trips. Italy: Tuscany, the Alps & the Riviera offers a more kaleidoscopic look at many facets of Italy, and our Romantic Villages of Alpine Europe draws connections between Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.

Brand new or classic, all our trips in the region promise to make 2015 a year to remember—and, for now, one to look forward to.
