Adam Goddess, Group Sales, Director Friends & Family/Customer Renewal
I started at Grand Circle in January of 1998 as a Telesales Associate. Since then, I’ve held management positions in our Telesales and Inner Circle departments, and now, as Director of the Group Sales team. Grand Circle has given me the opportunity to see the world—I’ve sailed the Amazon, journeyed through Europe, discovered the wonders of Southeast Asia, gone on safari in Africa, and traveled “down under” to Australia. I take great pride in having a team of extremely talented individuals that are focused on going above and beyond to ensure that we are providing world-class service to the best Group Leaders in the country. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Ilana, newborn son Micah, and Golden Retriever Teddie. I’m a huge fan of all Boston sports teams, and also very proud of the fact that I have completed two Boston Marathons.
Anthony Cerniglia, Group Sales Account Representative (Central/Southeast Territory)
I grew up in beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana. My parents were not interested in traveling, but I jumped at every opportunity to head to a new adventure with a sibling or cousin because I love experiencing different cultures. In 2004, I joined Grand Circle as an Inner Circle Travel Counselor, which enabled me to pursue my passion for travel and share my love of adventure with our customers. My favorite destination is Machu Picchu. I was amazed by the breathtaking views and the Incan architecture. In 2009, I joined Group Sales. What I love most about working with our Group Leaders is their amazing energy and enthusiasm. They inspire me every day. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy going to the gym, yoga, and playing with my Boston Terrier, Alex.
Roberta Dowgiert, Group Sales Travel Support Associate
I joined Grand Circle’s Group Sales Department in December of 2010 after spending most of my career in Telecommunications. Since the Group Sales team excels in developing and maintaining relationships with Group Leaders, I felt I’d be a good fit since I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their travel experiences. I’ve visited Italy numerous times, and toured several Caribbean islands, including Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Aruba, and Curacao. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, boating, and fishing in the warm, Gulf Coast waters.
James Henderer, Groups Sales Account Representative
(Midwest Territory)
I joined Grand Circle and the Group Sales Department in December of 2010 after running my own real estate business. I’m excited to help our Group Travel Program grow by forming relationships with various affinity groups. I was born in Germany, and traveled throughout Europe as a child. I love visiting new places, exploring the landscapes, and learning about different cultures by interacting with locals—and I especially enjoy trying new food wherever I go! I look forward to volunteering in our community with Grand Circle Foundation.
JoAnne Lynch, Group Sales Travel Support Associate
I have been with Grand Circle since 2005. I joined the Group Sales Department in 2009, after four years as a Traveler Support Representative. I enjoy working with our Group Leaders because it gives me the opportunity to build relationships with them. I was born in Brockton, Massachusetts: “The City of Champions.” I've traveled extensively throughout Europe, including Britain, France, Italy, and various Eastern European nations. One of my favorite trips was to Tipperary, Ireland, where my family and I rented a house in the town where my grandparents were born and raised. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending concerts, playing volleyball, and spending time with my 13-year-old son. The next destination on my “bucket list” is Egypt, because I am fascinated by the country’s incredible history.
Gabriel Mears, Group Sales Account Representative
(Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Territory)
I joined Grand Circle’s Sales Department in 2009, after three years of work in the travel industry, and recently joined the Groups Sales team because I wanted to focus on building relationships and consulting with our Group Leaders. As a Group Sales Account Representative, we’re able to connect over our shared love of travel, a passion which has taken me to locations as diverse as Eastern Europe and Egypt, not to mention the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Central America, and South American gems like Patagonia, Machu Picchu, and Iguazu Falls. I use my spare time to ski and snowboard in the winter, and spend the warmer months swimming, biking, and hiking. And, of course, I’m always thinking about where my travels will take me next.
Rachel Miller, Group Sales Account Representative
(West Coast Territory)
When I joined Grand Circle in April of 2010, I felt so lucky to be a part of this extraordinary company. I worked as an Inner Circle Travel Counselor for a little over a year before assuming responsibility for the West Coast territory in the Group Sales Department. This has been a great experience because I really enjoy being able to work directly with our Group Leaders to make your trips a success. I’ve always had a love and interest in travel, so by the time I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Tourism Development and Management, I had already traveled to England, Ireland, Mexico, Fiji, and five Caribbean islands. I love trying new foods, interacting with the locals, and understanding different cultures. In my spare time, I also enjoy playing volleyball, hiking, reading, spending time outdoors, and visiting my family on the West Coast.
Kristen Skinner, Group Sales Coordinator
I began at Grand Circle in 2003 as a Traveler Support Associate. I moved to Group Sales in 2005, where I continue to work with our Group Leaders to make sure they have everything they need to run a successful group adventure. Their passion and spirit for travel is inspiring. Although I love hearing about our Group Leaders’ experiences when they return, my favorite part of my job is processing the free trips they earn! I haven’t traveled extensively yet, but destinations on my wish list include Machu Picchu, Ireland, and Australia. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my twins—Kameron and Kayle—and our two Chihuahuas. And, of course, I love our Red Sox!
