Seiffen is nestled in a valley surrounded by dense, wooded highlands in the Erzgebirge, or Ore Mountains. Many consider the town the "Christmas toy capital of Germany." Most known for its woodcarving industry, the town is home to shops and workshops displaying the wooden crafts of local artisans. During your tour of Seiffen, you'll stop at the wooden toy workshop for a guided tour, followed by a visit to the Toy Museum, where you'll witness some of the famous wooden toys the area is known for—especially its nutcrackers. Later, enjoy free time to make your own discoveries of Seiffen before transferring to Meissen.

Prague boasts 1,000 years of Jewish cultural history—including a period in the 18th century when more Jews lived here than anywhere else in the world. During this afternoon tour, you’ll visit several of the city’s seven synagogues (among them Europe’s oldest), as well as the Old Jewish Cemetery, where observant Czech Jews have been buried for six centuries.
