Let’s give ‘em something to talk about
During my visit to Japan, I was introduced to a useful business strategy: kaizen, or the concept of continuous improvement. And with the launch of our new website, I’ve seen this philosophy in full-force as I witness the constant drive of my associates to improve upon the work we’ve already done.
Since our website launch, my team and I have been actively perusing the “Traveler Discussions” forums in our new Community section to see what you’ve been chatting about. Many have voiced concerns about some of the difficulties you’ve encountered with the website, specifically the slower speed and unfamiliar navigation and layout. I want to apologize if your experience on our new website hasn’t been perfect—however, I really appreciate your honesty, and I urge you to continue sharing your feedback with us. I want you all to rest assured: My team and I are working hard to make our website the best it can be—and your feedback helps us to continue to improve—so thank you for your suggestions and your patience.
And although we still have some kinks to work out, I’m excited to see so many of you interacting and sharing your travel experiences and advice with one another—especially in preparation for your upcoming trips. I’ve already seen wonderful responses to specific questions, like a traveler looking for a great spot to dine in Sicily, and another traveler seeking helpful hints for her upcoming Africa vacation. If you have advice for these travelers, have your own travel-related questions, or simply haven’t had a chance to visit our Community forums, I encourage you to check them out … there’s no better place to get answers to your travel questions than from fellow travelers.
P.S. In upcoming editions of Harriet’s Corner, I’ll be spotlighting Canada and Russia. If you’ve explored these countries with Grand Circle, I’d love to hear your stories—and see your pictures. You can send them to me at:
