Grand Circle Foundation has a new home on the web
When I first launched Harriet’s Corner, the idea of being on the web felt so strange and new to me … but I quickly embraced it as an easy and fun way to share my travel experiences with you—and a great place to hear your stories and see your photos, too. Of course, my passion for travel is closely intertwined with my passion for philanthropy—so I wanted to make sure you know that Grand Circle Foundation, the nonprofit organization that Alan and I founded in 1992, now has a home on the web as well.
On this website, you can learn about the difference we’re making in nearly 100 schools and 60 villages around the world. Read profiles of the “gutsy leaders” who inspire us to dream big. And sign up for a monthly e-newsletter that will keep you informed about our latest endeavors.
We donate a portion of the proceeds from every trip you take to Grand Circle Foundation—so I hope you’ll share in the wonderful feeling we get from changing people’s lives every day. There are many reasons to feel great about traveling with Grand Circle … but if you ask me, this is far and away the most important.
