Building a future without breast cancer
This past October marked the 25th anniversary of National Breast Cancer Awareness month—which was a more fitting time than ever for Grand Circle Foundation to make a donation in support of breast cancer research. We found dozens of noteworthy organizations to choose from … but for Alan and me, the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) stood out among them all.
As we read about the organization, we took note of powerful phrases like “rock the boat,” “challenge business as usual,” and “advocacy in action.” The NBCC is working toward nothing less than a world without breast cancer—a noble goal that cannot be achieved without challenging and changing the status quo. Since 1991, their tireless efforts have already raised more than $2.5 billion—paving the way for significant breakthroughs in research and treatment.
Our donation of $10,000 will be used to support the NBCC’s education and training programs. You can learn more about the NBCC and their influential advocacy campaigns in News & Views.
We are proud to support the NBCC in building a future without breast cancer.
