A helping hand & a helping hammer
Most people spend their weekends running errands, getting together with their families, or simply resting after a long week of work. But on Saturday, April 24, Grand Circle associates gave their time—and energy—to a very special cause: Rebuilding Together Boston.
The company’s largest community service event for 15 years and counting, Rebuilding Together Boston (or RTB, as it’s known throughout the company), is a local chapter of a national non-profit that helps renovate the homes of individuals who, due to illness, financial hardship, or other reasons, are unable to pay for essential home repairs.
This year, more than 140 associates, along with their family members and friends, worked tirelessly to paint, plant new bushes and flowers, clean—and truly make Donna Shepard’s (pictured with Grand Circle associate Lauren Fabrizio) 100-year-old Dorchester, Massachusetts, home a new place to live. (See photos of our associates hard at work in our News & Views section.)
I’m so proud of the giving hearts of our associates—and the dedication and time they provide to our community again and again. I look forward to many more years of changing the lives of our neighbors for the better.
